Ardell Rose Sievek

Ardell's parents were of Swiss descent. Ardell was able to take a tourto Switzerland in 1996. She attended school in Nymore and graduated fromBemidji High School, May 17, 1944; attended Business college, Bemidji;and went to Washington, D.C. as a secretary. She worked for OttertailPower, Bemidji when she returned from Washington.
She was an excellent homemaker, mother, grandmother and enjoyed attendingbaseball, basketball, football games and golf tournaments in which herchildren, and later grandchildren, played. She was an excellent golferand enjoyed golfing with her daughter Susie and granddaughter Terra.

Hobbies: Crafts, bridge and other card games, golf, cooking,entertaining. She was an active church member.

Ardell suffered a massive heart attack while she was at Our Savior'sLutheran Church, Larimore tending the garden. In spite of heroic effortsand open-heart surgery, she died on June 15, 1998. She is buried atBellevue Cemetery, Larimore. ND.
